So Johnny, my love, we got us a witness,
Now all we gotta do is get a preacher.
He can probably skip the until death part:
'Cause Johnny, my love, you're already dead.
I only ask because I'm a real cunt in spring,
You can rent me by the hour.

Sometimes. I do recall that one of the artists I watch, Lorbot, didn't have as many page views as he deserved. His art is really awesome, but he wasns't papulor. However, once he got a DD, he got a ton of page views after that, and ones he deserved. :)

So, basically, the artist shouldn't be measured by pageviews alone, but quality DOES reflect in the pageviews as skilled artists earn them?

Well, yes and no. It depends on what the person draws and how good the art. As with the case with the artist I was talking about, he was a fabulous artist but he wasn't well known. But I have noticed people who do a lot of fan art of popular shows do tend to get more pageviews than someone of the same art level as them. However though, there are amazing artists on here who get pageviews and such because of their art being simply amazing.

Basically, weather you be a good artist or not so good, your time for fame will come when it's due. It'll most likely come when you least expect it.

My rose will wither,
My heart will cry,
Please return to me,
Don't say goodbye.
I love you,
And I know you love me too.
:iconlittle-katydid:
Your welcome. :)

Sometimes they do, at least insofar as most people with a lot of pageviews in relation to how long they've been on dA are quite good, thought I've seen a few that made me wonder just what sort of drama they caused to merit such attention. :giggle:
