I'm not going to be on DeviantArt anymore, for a long time.
I'll start from the beginning-

20090826- August 26th, the day I took my oath to defend this great country.
I am a United States Sailor.
I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America and I will obey the orders of those appointed over me.
I represent the fighting spirit of the Navy and those who have gone before me to defend freedom and democracy around the world.
I proudly serve my country's Navy combat team with Honor, Courage, and Commitment.
I am committed to excellence and fair treatment of all.

I am going into training for Intelligence Specialist, and leave for the Recruit Training Center in Illinois September 8th.
For 8 weeks I will have intense "boot camp" and classroom training, during which I will have neither my laptop nor my cellphone.

I can exchange letters, but am not sure of my address.

After Basic, I'll have a minimum 13 weeks additional, technical training, which I've been told can actually last up to 2 years. So far, we're not entirely sure whether I'll be able to have my laptop at any point during this time.

I won't have my scanner. I may not even have my art supplies.

I'll be leaving my beluffled ~FreakyMuu in charge on my digital accounts, so that she can update things for me.
